On 17th October 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between LAW Department of School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S3H), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Pakistan and LAW School, Southwest Petroleum University, China in a ceremony held in Conference Room S3H NUST. The ceremony was organized and coordinated by the China Study Centre (CSC) NUST.
2. Following are the main participants of this ceremony from NUST and China side.
NUST Side – Chaired by Principal S3H, Dr. Zafar Mahmood and other participants were Professor Dr. Salma Siddiqui, Syed Sikandar Shah, Assistant Professor, Ms. Saima Ashraf, Deputy Director (CSC), and Ms. Nawal Fatima, Lecturer (CSC) attended the ceremony.
China Side – Fujingjing, Dean of Law School, Yu Baijiang, Deputy Party Secretary, Song Xuping Assistant Professor, Wan Jiaxin, Assistant to the Dean were the attendees from China Side.
The purpose of this agreement is to deepen the reform of Higher Legal Education and Teaching, actively promote inter-school international exchanges and cooperation, improve the mechanism of collaborative education.
The two sides agreed to cooperate in the following areas;
a) Talent Cultivation
b) Discipline Co-Construction
c) Academic Cooperation
