- On 2nd March, 2023, 03 x Documents of Understanding (DoU) have been signed in a ceremony held in main office NUST with the coordination of China Study Centre (CSC) between NUST Pakistan and 3 departments of China named as:
- Weifang Engineering Vocational College
- Qingzhou Municipal People’s Government
- Weifang National Agricultural Open Development Comprehensive Pilot Zone
- Following participants attended the ceremony from NUST and China side. Chaired by Pro-Rector Academics Dr. Osman Hassan, Acting Director NUST International Office, Dr. Umer Asghar and his team, Principal Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences (ASAB) with his faculty members and Director China Study Centre Ms. Xiang Yang and her team. Mr. Wang Yong, Deputy Director of Weifang National Agricultural Comprehensive District Promotion office, Ms. Li Xiuming, Deputy Director Weifang National Comprehensive Pilot Agriculture Zone, Deputy Mayor Mr. Chen Wei, of Qingzhou Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Wang Jinming, Vice President Weifang Engineering Vocational College.
- National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) is joining hands with Weifang National Agriculture & Development Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Qingzhou Municipal People’s Government and with Weifang Engineering Vocational College in the field of agriculture. The Pakistan-China Agriculture Project is a significant initiative that aims to boost agriculture productivity in Pakistan through collaboration with China.
The Pakistan-China projects served as a model for other countries in the region to emulate and reinforce the belief that cooperation and partnership can lead to significant achievements and benefits for all.
